Although this jacket design is based on a mid thirties pattern, it was a style that didnt really change until the late 50s/early 60s.
This is a very wearable casual style jacket made in wool mix fabric in a tweed style weave. We call the colour Oatmeal because it has many tones of brown within the lighter tan colour.
Key Vintage Inspired features include:-
- elastic webbing at waist for a good fit
- welt pockets
- button cuff
- fully lined
- top stitching on collar

Fantastic jacket, the high waist sits well on period trousers, a true "bum-freezer"!
Maybe you could produce this jacket in different colours? I'd definitely buy more!
This jacket is superb - very well made and comfortable to wear. It sits right on the waist and complements high-waisted trousers like the 'Bertie' very nicely. Roomy in the upper body for those of us with wide shoulders. Great 1930s sportsman styling to it, yet still very smart. Have worn this to 30s, 40s and 50s events, or with contempory jeans. Superb all rounder!
